this. I loved her "peacock blue." I couldn't think of anywhere that color would work in my house. Then, last week, looking at the colors in our rug, I decided I could do a similar color right in my living room. My kids are at my sister's right now, so this was the perfect time to paint. So, I picked a darker version of the peacock blue. I was finished by 6 pm yesterday. It was very difficult to get the correct color in a photo. It isn't quite this: (needs to be a bit greener)
Or this: (too green and muted)
Though, I would say it's still a bit brighter than this. (Yes, BRIGHTER.)
At first, I really liked it. Then, every time I would leave the room, I would come back in and think "Whoa, that's blue!" At one point, I walked in the room and start laughing. Allen is walked in and said "oh, my" a lot. He then started taking photos and texting his mom about the color. I don't know how I feel about it right now, but we're going to live with it for awhile.
