I got my NEW FLASH in the mail today! Woohoo! I love it so much. It is the best piece of camera equipment ever. For my needs anyway. We don't have so very much daylight this time of the year in Alaska. So, though natural light is awesome, it is very difficult to take very many pictures that way. Especially when it is also super cold and you are inside. So, my flash came today! See if you can tell a difference. All of these pictures were taken on regular auto settings, with the 18-55mm lens that came with the camera. Nothing was altered in photoshop,either (except file size.)

Of course, this also makes my camera even bulkier and heavier, but SO WORTH IT!

Oh my gosh! I LOVE it! I only asked for an amazon gift certificate for Christmas for the express purpose of buying an external flash...but then I couldn't decide whether or not I wanted one. After seeing your photos, I realize I do!!! Now...where did I put that gift cert?
