I thought we were going to make it to October without snow, but it happened tonight. Our first snow of the year. I am assuming (and strongly hoping) that this is the normal teaser snowfall-the one that doesn't stick around. Hopefully, I'll be able to get those leaves off the ground after this melts.

blahhhhhh. Here it comes. Some guy on the radio this morning was talking about how he things Mother Nature has it instore for us this winter. He said it was just his gut feeling, but I sure hope it's not a horribly frigid one.
I have heard that is is supposed to be a really BAD winter this year, too. How do they know that?
