A big girl, and a rock-eaterAshlyn is no longer a baby. Though she is not yet one, she nursed for the last time Sunday night. She was pretty mad about it last night, but gave up after crying for a few minutes. She turned on her aquarium and went to sleep for the whole night! She did get up a little too early for my taste, (at least 6, please,) though she did play with her aquarium for a little while before I had to get her. I've been a little bit sad about giving that up, just because it means my baby is growing up. But, hey, after 9 months of pregnancy & 11 1/2 months of nursing, my body is once again my own!

Ok, right now, my breasts feel like rocks. I'm not enjoying that part.

Angie...this post made me CRY! They just grow up too fast! I know it must be hard to give up nursing, but WELCOME BACK TO YOUR OWN BODY!
