I had in mind to write today about what an amazing, sensitive, dramatic child you have become.
I thought I would write about how I cannot believe that you are already four. How these few years have passed too quickly. How I want you to stay little.
But today has been so full of whining, crying, screaming, and general pain-in-the-tush behavior (from you and your brother.) So today, all I can think is that I am so glad that the days do not go by any slower. And I hope that this is not how four will be.
I love you.
I love you.
Mommy
PS
I just received this in an email from babycenter: "If 3-year-olds are busy, inquisitive, and fun, 4-year-olds are all that, magnified — yet with a budding maturity, self-control, and understanding of rules that help make life a bit calmer." Perhaps you did not get this message?
