Photo Collage

I am trying to put together a photo collage of Christopher. I had a similar one made for Ashlyn when she was 3 months. I am trying to decide which photos to include in the collage.

What do you think? Do you like the chubby arm or additional face more than the other? Do you think that I should include different photos altogether (like a more obvious smile?) Oh, and I know that everything isn't lined up. I'm printing them separately.

I like number 1 because as they get older you forget exactly how chubby their arms were....and those are the cutest parts about babies!

I pick #2...I love the hands in the mouth!!

Angie...these are SO cute! I will have to get Ashlyn's out and look to compare....

I WANT ONE! Or 2 or 3 or 4

Number one. I bet you already have lots with his hand in his mouth. This shows some other part of him.

These are great.

AMAZING, Angie! Those are so good!

I like number 2 better! I love the arm picture, though, but I just think maybe it should move down to the bottom row of number 1.

Really, though, that is just nitpicky. They are both just wonderful. I can't believe how professional they look! What did you use for the background? I especially love the one of the eyelashes taken from behind the head!

I want nitpicky! I really want opinions. I think I may take a couple more of his feet and hands. I'm not as happy with those pictures. I'm not sure.

I just used a scrap piece of black cotton fabric (fortunately the wrinkles and dog hair didn't show too much in the pictures.) I really need some larger pieces if I am going to try to do pictures myself.

I think number one but you really can't go wrong with either. If you switch the 3rd row pictures 1 and 2you could be more symmetrical/balanced, if it matters (face picture in an X format) or if you are even at that stage yet.

I'd try to get another of his feet - using a bigger bit of fabric on a table so you can get a side shot a bit better. and I LOVE babies chubby legs also - then you could have an arm and a leg - rather than lots of face pictures. I adore the close up of the fingers in the mouth. Maybe you could do all close ups except for one good full face shot? and centre them around that?
but hey I really think anything you put together will be stunning - also when you come back to the states I'm getting you to photograph Jackson

I like #2 better. I just love the tiny ear! You are such a good photographer. Do you use editing software?

I just have photoshop.

I do have enough fabric for a full body. I'll have to do a few more. I was hoping to get some more cute face shots, but he's had a gross cold since right after I took these.

I hadn't thought about the faces not being balanced. I was just trying to balance the darks and lights and keeping the close ups separate. Or at least somewhat even. I'll have to look at these again.

They are all great...I don't know how you're going to choose!

I like #2 better, but I LOVE the arm picture, I'd move it to #2. I REALLY love the yawn and the slight smile with his hand in his mouth! Those are so adorable! I'd take out the far left middle, move the feet into that position, the bottom middle over and put the chubby arms in the bottom middle row! That way you'd have full face in an x and body parts all around!! Those truly are amazing and beautiful, GREAT job!

okay, now that I look at it again, I'd take out the bottom middle instead of the far left middle row(in #2)! Swap the feet and the far left middle row and put chubby arms in bottom row middle position! Yhew, I know you wanted all that input, didn't you!! :)
