paris:1&2

Too much to see. No time to write. But, here are a few pictures from our first couple of days in Paris.

A bunch of people we don't know in front of the Notre Dame Cathedra.
Angie overlooking beautiful Paris (pronounced Pair-eee).

Here's Ashlyn finally going to sleep and providing us with some quiet time. Although Allen's shoulders are killing him!
Christopher, too!

Can you guess what famous Paris landmark this is?
Here we are in front of........yep, you guessed it....the Eiffel Tower!

This is not a famous Paris landmark, but don't tell that to Ashlyn!
She had to go twice!
whoops, an Eiffel tower picture, out of sequence!!

This is the water fountain right next to the...........................................................LOUVRE!!

Who am I, Daddy?.............................................................A PRINCESS!!!

P.S. That's not really Angie overlooking Paris, it's just a stone Gargoyle on top of the Notre Dame Cathedral. I didn't want anyone to really think that was Angie!

GREAT pics...looks like you're having a good time. How long will you be there? The Princess and her brother look sooo cute. We are really looking forward to seeing them.

I cannot look at these pictures. Brings back too many memories and I'm about to pick up the phone to call my best friend to start planning a girls trip!! A trip we've talk about but...leaving the kids with Matt for a week...

Love the picture of Ashlyn riding!

Both kids look so happy. Don't know how you do it. My kids start to fall apart by 12:00 and anything we haven't finished by then will be breezed through so quickly that we really don't take anything in!

Looks like you're having a great trip!!

We have almost an identical picture of Garland and Nicholas sitting in front of the fountain at the Louvre! Looks like tons of fun! Congrats to Allen on a promotion!!! Yay! I can't believe you can update your blog while on vacation, I can't even seem to do it when nothing spectacular is going on!! Maybe that's why....nothing spectacular is going on...NOT even spring!! :)

I love the pics! It looks like everyone is having fun! One day Ed and I will make it to France. With everything that went on during the Spring time, Ed and I had to change our vacations plans from France to Norway.

I hope that everything else is going well. Take care!

I can't believe Ashlyn fell asleep on Allen's shoulders. That blows my mind but what a cute picture.

Happy travels. I miss you.

THANK YOU for posting the terrific pictures! We Arkansans are living vicariously through your travels, and loving it.

Just back from Boston - not too glamorous, but good walking - and off to the beach soon. Can't wait to watch Beth chasing crabs and burying Kelly in the sand!

Miss you guys. Beth wants to ride that carousel with Ashlyn RIGHT NOW.

Love all the pictures! You'll need them so Ashlyn will know that wasn't just any old carousel, but one in Paris! All these great memories made! We took Hannah/Hayes to Disney World when they were 3/1 and we keep trying to tell them, "Yes, you have been to D.W.!" But, they're not buying it. Your princess/prince are precious!

Are you all still in Paris? Still alive? I've missed your blog! :)
