Granny clothes Princess Ashlyn

Ashlyn's favorite dress. She likes to shake her hips to "wiggle" her dress.

My parents were here to help when Christopher was born and left on the 17th. We only had a couple of days to deal with everything on our own before Allen's mom arrived. Granny brought dress-up clothes with her! Ashlyn was so excited about her dresses, for the first week she had them, that was all she wore at our house. I was afraid she would insist on wearing them out all of the time, too.

How cute about the dress up clothes. McKenzie has a TON of dress up clothes and if she wants to wear them out and the weather permits I don't care, it's pretty funny. So glad you are able to have family to help. Michael and I didn't have that for the first two and with the third it seems we don't need it as much for some reason. Also, Thanks for the heads up on Michelle's book, I plan on going to see her at Barnes and Noble in Feb. Enjoy that little one..

Your son is so cute and chubby! I want to squeeze those cheeks!

Love the clothes and isn't it great having fun grandparents! Ashlyn looks like she's having a blast!

I love help from grandparents and try to bribe them into coming as much as possible! Matt's parents haven't made it yet and the girls are at a fabulous stage. Just recently, Liv's behavior has gotten better and Lila is a hugging machine with a new words coming out of her mouth every day. It breaks my heart when grandparents miss out on the fun stages. You try to capture some of it on film - but it's not the same.

What a smart Granny!! Ashlyn is so beautiful and the little one is adorable! How is life treating y'all? Was it hard to deal with everything on your own?

Christopher looks like a snuggle bear! Nora is currently changing her clothes 3 times a day. She wore her pj's with a skirt the other day!

Ashlyn looks so cute in all her dresses. Is Granny still there? I am so glad everyone (well, not everyone... we aren't there;) has been able to come and see you. It might be a long trip but it is one worth while one!
Christopher has changed so much since the last post. It's crazy how fast they change.

It's neat to see how different raising a little girl is than a little boy. All the beautiful dresses and girlie dress up clothes are adorable. Maybe I need to get Bo some dress-up GI Joe outfits or something, but it's just not the same. You'll see soon enough with Christopher.

BTW - are you calling him Christopher or Chris?

Your pictures really capture Ashlyn in this beautiful light, with that milky skin and those huge eyes. Ethereal prettiness. She does look like a princess!
