De-rella!

Example A of her lack of cooperation: I asked her to let me take a picture of her pretty dress.

Ashlyn loves to dress up, and it is always about Derella (Cinderella to the rest of you.) Anything she thinks is pretty or girly is deemed "De-rella!" We put them on and she twirls around, saying "I sooo pretty." I've had to hide her summer dresses, because they are a bit girlier than her winter ones. Here are a few pictures of Ashlyn "Derella."

Example B of her lack of cooperation: Running from me. (Those are her new de-rella shoes, compliments of Granny. And, she slept in them last night.)

Example C: No explanation necessary

See...I knew I should have been buying her pretty dresses instead of pants!

She sounds like a normal preschooler! Daniel and Mikey have these screwey closed-eyes smiles now whenever they see the camera coming. They think they are smiling but it looks like they have tasted a rotten lemon. They do so many cute things until I actually ask them to do them and then they seem to forget how to entirely. Ahhh, kids...

First and foremost, Ashlyn is adorable! I didn't know she liked getting dressed up so much. I must look for some girlie dresses for her... Second, that rug, couch and wall go beautifully together. Well done!

I love the picture of of Ashlyn in her dresses! My little nieces like to play "De-rella" too, but they call it playing "Princess". It's really cute!
