Birthday Parties

Apparently, when you are five, you need more than one birthday party. Ashlyn invited friends from school to a party at the pool. We swam, opened presents, and had cake.

The next weekend we had family at our house for another celebration. Ashlyn had a ladybug cake picked out for over a year, for Granny to make.

All of her cousins at the party joined us at the pool afterward.
