New Haircut

Ashlyn wanted her hair cut. She started telling me maybe a year ago that she wanted short hair, like Granny and Grandma. Or Daddy and Christopher. Um, no. I wanted her to still look like a little girl, but she kept saying that she wanted short hair. We still don't think that she understands that the hair grows back very slowly. Finally, I convinced Ashlyn (and myself) that maybe we could deal with shorter hair, but more like mine than Daddy. I told her that we wouldn't be able to have ponytails and braids anymore. She just reminded me that she always takes those out anyway. So, today I took the kids for haircuts.

I think the cut really suits her. Hopefully, her hair won't be as much of a mess at this length, either. (Christopher's hair cut didn't turn out as well.)

Cute. And, you can still do lots with it. I think. You could, for fun, put it in curlers and get it curly, or do some pigtails, etc. I think it's great!

We had McKenzie's hair cut shorter a few years back and I find it much easier to take care of now and she gets so many compliments on it short.....

She looks very grown up! and you should have waited for ME to cut Christopher's hair! I could have promised not to go so short :)
Can't wait to see you! I'll be the one at the airport with my boobs out :)

Gina...what you DON'T know...is that Christopher carries his shoe everywhere....he seems a bit obsessed(is that a word?) with his shoes...always wanting to put them back on!
