He so loves his bath!
Since Christopher's first cereal, followed quickly by melons, he has been trying many new things, at a more reasonable pace. He's had squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans, lentils, bananas, mangoes, blueberries, apples, strawberries, peaches, avocado, and Cheerios (and possibly something else I'm forgetting.) For a while, he would grab the spoon with one hand, and grip my hand with his other. I guess he wanted to make sure that I didn't take the food away. He has become a big eater. It is hard to believe that he was exclusively breastfed just 6 weeks ago.
He loved feeding himself Cheerios so much, I got these self feeders. While I still think he prefers picking up the small pieces, he chomps away at the feeders, too.
Double fisted meals. I brought out the second one, because Ashlyn was trying to share her banana with him.
Christopher has been rolling around a lot for a month or so, getting to his own toys and checking things out. He then started scooting a bit. He really just entertains himself on the floor, so content. Last week, Christopher finally started sitting up on his own. He isn't super steady, but we are working on it. Then, last night, Allen told me that I should come upstairs if I wanted to see my son crawl. Of course, I ran upstairs. Christopher was low crawling, in the tub, no less. Allen said that Christopher also discovered that Allen has TWO ears last night. He would grab onto one and then look on the other side of Allen's head to check out the other one. Then he pulled away from Allen to see them both at once. Then I walked into the room, and Christopher's thoughts turned to food and ear exploration was over.
I don't know if you can tell from this picture(where yes, Christopher looks like a dog,) but Christopher's hair sticks straight up. It kind of reminds me of Lewis from Meet the Robinsons.
