Firsts and More Birthday Fun

Christopher started his first cereal yesterday morning.

He was not impressed.
By lunch, he'd had his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th foods, when Allen gave him watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew. He preferred those.
Allen had the day off, so we took the kids swimming. We started to an outdoor pool, but the threat of rain sent us to an indoor pool instead. Most of the pools here have nice kid areas. This one has a slide and sprinkler type thing in the kid area, which is less than a foot deep. It also has a large water slide, which Ashlyn would only try once. We went on the slide several times last year, so I'm not sure the reasoning.
After her nap, Ashlyn played with Bella.
And rode her new bike.

She kept looking at her feet, because she was having a hard time pedaling. Shoes probably would have helped.

It was a fun family day.

Those are the best kind of days. I love those days. We you do the simple fun activities. Makes me smile! Love the pictures, too.

I am assuming with the second child you don't freak out too much about only introducting one food at a time? That cracked me up about having 1-4 first foods in the same day!!! I love it!

Cute kids!
