Normandy beaches

From Giverny, we drove to Bayeux. This was a good point to start our next day of travel to the D-Day landing beaches. Ashlyn enjoyed walking on the beach. She liked looking at the shells and then throwing them down to look for more. Here are a few photos. Omaha Beach

We also went to Pointe du Hoc. The kids were both exhausted, so I sat in the car with sleeping children while Allen walked through St.Mere Eglise.
