As I have mentioned before, Ashlyn loves books! She really wants someone to read to her for many hours of the day. Last weekend, Chris Wiley volunteered to read her a book. I don't think he realized that she would expect him to read more than one. She also looks at books by herself as well. Lately, she wants to sit on something when she reads. I'm sure a comfy chair would probably be her first choice, but she has been sitting on the cat, the dog bed(whether or not one of the animals is already asleep in it) or the bathroom scale, whatever is handy, really. Today, she kept getting in the bed with the cat, and, believe it or not, the cat never left.
Now that we have shoes, Ashlyn wants them on all of the time. This morning, she decided that she needed shoes on with her pajamas. She also tries to wear various things she finds around the house, like the dishtowels or my clothes.
How do you put this on?

Is it just me, or, after comparing Ashlyn's head to your bra, does it appear that Ashlyn's head is about as big as one of your boobs!!!
Ok, I don't know who you are (Allen?) but Ashlyn's head isn't near as big as my boobs! I mean, whatever, I don't think so.
These pictures are just too cute. I want to reach through the screen and give Ashlyn a big hug. We're looking forward to many hours of book reading while we're there. Hopefully she won't want me to sit in the dog's bed with her!
Shoes...books....bras....Ashlyn is definitely your daughter Angie!
Um, I don't know about that, Bob. I wear bras because I have to. I would rather go swimsuit shopping than shoe shopping. I do love books, though.
The bra is hilarious!!! I'm so glad she loves books. That is wonderful! And shoes. She has great taste!
Yeah, I'm thinking that she must get the shoe thing from my mother. She loves shoes and wears them constantly.
Love the pictures and she just gets funnier and cuter every day.
And "anonymous" (Allen?), I will attest to the fact that Angie's boobs have not exponentially exploded to the size of Ashlyn's head. Now that would just be down right painful.
Thank goodness for that!
I was just saying that's what it looks like in the picture, that's all!
Let's see, now who in the world could "stuck in a shit-hole" be??? It took Bob and I a while to stop laughing...what a great way to start our day!
I don't know about anyone else but I'm ready for a new blog.
I can't believe how fast she is growing! I think it's so cool that she likes to read! That can do so much for her learning later.
Yea, I am ready for some more blog fun with Angie and Ashlyn too. And Grandma and I are looking forward to making some blog fun contributions of our own when we get to Fairbanks in a few short weeks! Hey I just had a thought for "stuck in a shit-hole:" that could be misinterpreted for someone with thier head up thier a**! Love, Bob/Dad/Pawpaw
I think her early exposure to Aunt Jamie has influenced Ash to love shoes. :)
She is one smart lady. I need to find her some red boots.
That must be it, Jamie!
