My parents arrived here safe and sound. They had a very long trip. From Arkansas to LA, long layover, LA to Anchorage, long layover, Anchorage to Fairbanks. Apparently, the terminal where they were eating dinner in LA had to evacuate because of suspicious luggage. If it had been dangerous, they wouldn't have made it, because the restaurant made them pay for their uneaten meal before they could leave!
But, now they are here, where you would think they could relax from their long trip. Mom did. She took a long nap this afternoon. Dad, on the other hand, mowed, weedeated, and worked on getting Allen's truck running.
Before we went back to our house, we went to Pike's Landing and had lunch by the river. A bit smoky, but, otherwise nice. Ashlyn begin rebonding with one of her sets of grandparents. Mom kept saying how adorable Ashlyn was, and she thought that she could say that objectively. Um, yeah, objectively. As another completely objective party, I definitely agree, though. She is adorable!

We'll get some pictures of Grandma, too. They will be here for awhile!
I'm so happy that your dad was able to be there for Father's Day, too! Did you receive the shirt for Ashlyn? So proud of her for standing and showing great progress on walking! Too cute!!!
Say hello to your parents!
