I see questions like yours given easy-to-read, uncomplicated answers often. If you're still looking for answers, she might be worth a try, at www.komando.com - good luck, dear!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24644871.post-81257985659039399662008-11-11T01:04:00.000-06:002008-11-11T01:04:00.000-06:00I agree with Katie. I should have made my comment with your post open and would have realized/remembered that the issue was w/your Sony.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02491605584777030663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24644871.post-65839910413303585652008-11-10T00:42:00.000-06:002008-11-10T00:42:00.000-06:00Angie is not using an SLR though for the video. I ...Angie is not using an SLR though for the video. I would do what Natalie suggested and call Sony for help. I've been doing what Holly does and using one of my digital cameras to capture video. Kent might know since he is usually the one transferring video from the tapes to the computer but I won't get to see him until late tomorrow.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24644871.post-55768391428205869152008-11-09T15:09:00.000-06:002008-11-09T15:09:00.000-06:00Holly, if you have a DVD player w/a burner on it, ...Holly, if you have a DVD player w/a burner on it, you can hook up your Sony to the DVD with the cables and burn your tape onto the DVD. I'm not good with this stuff and I called Panasonic's number (DVD player/burner) and they walked me through it over the phone. I'm sure Sony could do the same thing. It's been a big help b/c Olivia LOVES to watch home videos. I'm sure you can burn to DVD via your computer/camera but I haven't taken the time to figure it out...I do the same thing you do and make movies from my Canon to my computer via the SD card, etc.

Angie, I have no idea how to help - but, Jae Rin may. Does she have the same SLR as you (I think she may??)...Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02491605584777030663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24644871.post-60104584279344728742008-11-09T11:22:00.000-06:002008-11-09T11:22:00.000-06:00I hope you find your answer! I've never figured out how to get it to computer. I've been taking all my video lately with my Canon SD750 digital camera. It takes great video and transfers to my computer with all my photos. I do not like complicated technology! Hope you get your answer soon. The Dunnshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07176631352190176669noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24644871.post-70357197168617961592008-11-09T06:56:00.000-06:002008-11-09T06:56:00.000-06:00Don't cry! If it looks normal in the camera, then ...Don't cry! If it looks normal in the camera, then I am pretty sure it is still there in perfect form. It seems to me that puttting it on the computer is where the problem is. So, when you get it onto Windows Movie maker it looks like this? Or is it like this once you get it to YouTube?

It seems something is off with the Capturing. There are some weird settings on mine that when I can't remember how they go, I get things all jacked up. Keep fiddling with the capture screen!!

And don't cry. The videos are not lost. They just aren't translating well on the computer program!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07818728328063570386noreply@blogger.com
